Healthy Asian Chick’n Salad with Sesame Coconut Dressing

A new, refined sugar free take on a CLASSIC salad recipe (Literally with Kokada Classic in it!)

We love a good Asian Chicken salad. It's crunchy, refreshing, filling, and an easy way to integrate tons of healthy proteins (adding both chick'n and edamame)!

Whenever we make an Asian Chicken salad, we always take a lot of time to make our dressing. You want something sweet, tangy, AND spicy in there after all! We got tired of adding honey to our dressings (no offense to honey because, it's really a classic) so we tried adding Kokada Classic instead, aaaaaaand, EUREKA! It was a lightbulb moment.

So without further ado, we introduce to you, our new favorite salad recipe!

Healthy Asian Chick'n Salad with Sesame Coconut Dressing

Salad Ingredients

·     1 head romaine lettuce

·     3/4 c edamame

·     1/2 red bell pepper, chopped

·     1/3 c sesame sticks

·     1/4  c red onion, chopped

·     1 small cucumber

·     1 shredded carrot

·     Cilantro

·     1 serving of chicken or plant based chick'n, cooked

Sesame Coconut Dressing

·     2 tbsp Kokada Classic

·     2 tbsp olive oil

·     2 tsp sesame oil

·     1 tbsp rice vinegar

·     1 tbsp lime juice

·     2 tsp coconut aminos

·     1 tsp garlic

·     1-2 tsp sriracha, optional


1. Prepare all of the salad ingredients.

2. Combine all of the dressing ingredients in a bowl. Whisk to combine.

3. Pour over prepped salad and enjoy.

4. Pro tip: make extra dressing and use as a marinade for your favorite protein!
